Dzwonki rowerowe z kolekcji Waldemara Kuczyńskiego

Nie ulega wątpliwości, że  XIX i XX wieczne rowery były znacznie ładniejsze od dzisiejszych, a

elegancki dzwonek dopełniał stylowego wyglądu roweru. Rowerowa biżuteria powstawała w małych manufakturach, stąd tak duża różnorodność ornamentów i kształtów. Pierwsze dzwonki wyprodukowano w 1877 roku. W dzisiejszych kolekcjach przeważają czasze, mechanizmy w większości przypadków nie zachowały się.

The 19th and 20th century bikes used to be beautiful objects much more representative than today's vehicles. The stylish appearance of a bike was perfected by a bicycle bell. The bicycle jewelry came in different shapes and with different illustrations. The first bicycle bells were created around 1877. They were mostly made in small factories, that's why they are very diverse. From old bicycle bells usually only a bell cover (bell dome) remains, whereas the gear no longer exists.

W latach 80 XX wieku wielu niepokornych artystów miało problemy z komunistyczną cenzurą. Mimo to artyści tacy jak Jacek Kaczmarski, Przemysław Gintrowski czy Jan Krzysztof Kelus docierali do szerokiej publiczności dzięki piosenkom nagranym na kasety wydawane w drugim, niezależnym obiegu.

In the 80's of the 20th century, during the Communist Regime in Poland many artists were banned from publishing their music due to harsh censorship. Nevertheless musicians such as Jacek Kaczmarski, Przemysław Gintrowski or Jan Krzysztof Kelus had a wide audience. Their albums were released in underground enterprises and sold on cassettes.
